Totally valid theory. 

Personally, I think they did plan it… at least to some extent.

But, Lutessa Luthor is a pretty awful name and sounds like something they threw together to make it fit.  Lutessa. 

And then,  I don’t always have a lot of faith in those writers so if you told me that you thought they made it all up in season 10, “totally valid theory” would be my response as well. lol

I’m not really invested in either side of this one.  Neither would surprise me.
