I’m the reason Jimmy’s dead. Oliver was right. I put humanity on a pedestal. It wasn’t a Kryptonian beast that killed Jimmy. It was a human.
Season 8 Finale
This scene culminates a sub plot between Oliver and Chloe conflicting and agreeing about Doomsday. That look they give each other says a million words.
It wasn’t a romantic relationship in season 8 and is in fact a pretty small subplot only appearing in a hand full of episodes, but there was a deepening of the working/trust relationship between them as they were working together more closely and found themselves both separating from Clark’s way of doing things.
We’re still on the same side.
An important thing to remember when watching Smallville. Their paths diverge sometimes, but they are still on the same time.
I knew it. I was so right!
Learning Clark’s secret… the moment everyone knew he was going to be the one who was spoiled to die.
I still wanted to be like “But they can’t kill Jimmy! He’s Jimmy freakin’ Olsen!”
And then they even took that from me.
He wasn’t the “Real Jimmy.”
I still don’t like it.
Not one bit. Personal opinion, l think he should have taken the legion and got stuck permanently in the future where Lois and Clark are older and he’s still young — the producers say the age issue was the factor and that would solve it. He could wake up and have everyone shocked that he shows up after all those years — at least it is better than dead. I don’t care about the age issue. I would have let him be Jimmy, but if they really cared about the age, that’s what I would have chosen over dead.
Clark, I haven’t slept in days and I am dangerously close to a caffeine OD.
